The ski resort show is a street performance for all ages, featuring slalom, bobsleigh, snowballs and good humour.
Part artistic creation, part fun installation for adults and children, this new creation by the Machtiern company
is a way to shift your perceptions, to go skiing without going far, to travel without leaving your seat. The
theme of skiing opens up avenues of creativity, laughter, artistic shift and the unusual.
Various game machines, built in our workshops, are installed in a circular stage area with a
metal pylon (height: 3 metres) in the centre serving as a support for the snow machines.
Artistic turbulence is guaranteed with the performance of the four actors playing ‘ski instructors’. The games
offered to the audience are mechanical and visual, and most of them require dexterity and a sense of humour.
The show:
A dive into a unique and original artistic universe.
A fun moment rich in experience and emotion.
A friendly, family atmosphere where everyone can find their place.
An offbeat universe where people can get to know each other better.
And (above all), an opportunity to dig out your 1980s ski suit and après-ski boots, put on a bobble hat,
your first star, strut around with a snowboard on your shoulder without ever having set foot in the mountains,
dance in the snow, slalom without risk, win a mountaineering competition and, of course, enjoy
the experience, advice and serious ski instructors.
Games:
Throwing snowballs at alpine cow bells against a mountain backdrop. Using a compressed air launcher,
you have to aim at the bells, which are just waiting to ring.
Balance your Bob (Game of strength. A bobsleigh mounted on bearings is propelled around the circuit
(approximately 10 metres).
The giant slalom (a game of dexterity. A pair of skis mounted on a slide, a moving conveyor belt, WATCH OUT
FOR THE GATES! ).
An artistic display punctuated by snowstorms with continuous background music. Duration: 2 hours per
day.
Organised by the town hall, the traders' association and the entertainment committee.
