The Tenor of Brest
Juke, alias The Tenor of Brest, has been making his mark in Finistère for twenty years. A singer, composer, smooth-talker and street crier, he takes to all manner of stages, audiences and artistic forms.
Recently, this Douarnenez-based entertainer released an album featuring stories, journeys, places and unlikely characters such as old socks, the periwinkle cove, the snail race and Grandma’s hollyhocks. His rich, melodious voice, his sailor’s look (Juke is a former seaman), his sense of humour and his cheerful disposition are his hallmarks. The Brest-born tenor has a powerful voice and a cheeky wit, charisma and daring.
Emsavidi
Emsavidi is a trio specialising in FCBD dance, drawing inspiration for their movements, costumes and music from the history of the Romani people, from India through the Balkans, the Middle East and Andalusia.
