Description
In the future, flowers have disappeared. All except the lacy tulips of the future. But now the avalobouftouteflor nec tulipa butterflies have run out of food and are devouring the famous tulips... Fortunately, young Skär meets the mysterious LadyPunk, who has preserved all the species in her garden.
"Aimed at young audiences, but not only, La nuit où les chauves-souris is a forward-looking ecological fable that examines the relationship that we humans have with the wild world in the garden," says Anne-Christine Tinel, who wrote the script that she directs.
It's a show steeped in philosophy, poetry and humour.
The stage is sparsely laid out, with a knapsack and a few white pebbles arranged in a cloud to define the space. Inès Lopez plays the role of young Skar, alone on stage, in a gripping performance that makes use of clowning techniques. From the child's eyes will spring the figures that will punctuate his imaginary adventure. Skar's oversized yellow raincoat, worn in one way or another, will act as a costume for each of the characters that his reverie will generate.
