Description
Ressac is an invitation out to sea: an instrumental trio that composes as the sea breathes, in short waves. Somewhere between contemplative music and the soundtrack to an imaginary film, Pierre Moissard (organ, piano), Anaïck Moriceau (cello) and Louis Hamon (guitar, keyboards) sketch out a world beyond our own that is more sensed than described. Their world draws as much inspiration from cinema as from literature: Cocteau’s surrealism, Jean Epstein’s Breton documentaries, Bachelard’s aquatic reveries. At the heart of it all lies the sea — and those who live with it, caught between heritage, journeys and the horizon. On stage, the trio likes to enrich their soundscape with moving images and sound objects, creating a fully immersive experience.
