The Manoir du Stang will host the second concert in a series entitled "Les Nocturnes du Stang".
Xavier Grall* par Xavier Grall, de la révolte à l'épure, is a show combining readings and music. A narrator recites the poet's words, accompanied by musicians who traverse different styles, from the baroque of Bach to the classicism of Mozart, from the romanticism of Liszt to the modern and contemporary music of Schulhoff and Hovounts, from the French variety of Giraud to the electronic sounds of the group Lamb. Breton music completes this universe, accompanying Xavier Grall's poetic journey from revolt and anger to a calmer, more inner voice.
Director and flute: Alain Ehkirch
Narrator (in the role of Xavier Grall): Michel Hervio
Piano: Marie-Astrid Arnal
*Xavier Grall (1930-1981) was a French poet, journalist and writer from Brittany who was deeply committed to the defence of Breton identity and culture.
This concert is organised by the association Il était une fois au Stang, in partnership with the association Concerts d'Armor.
