Description
To be in motion is to take in the space, the elements within it and our own presence. We live by our breath. We hear the wind through its resonance in the leaves, amongst the trees, and within the hollow of our bodies.
‘Remembering a Breath’ is a project combining a visual and sound exhibition with moments of dance performance. Visual artist Laurette Le Gall and choreographer Delphine Robet invite visitors to observe and experience a space that is both real and fictional, composed of fragments. Photomontages of vegetation, the sound of a breath, a moving body and narratives of memories coexist, posing the question: How can the environment, in an instant, rekindle a memory that dwells within us and set our future memories in motion?
