Description
A wind of freedom is blowing and taking with it the traditional codes of the fine arts. The artists in this exhibition share this desire to be out of sync with the times, through an artistic practice that is uninhibited and free of rules, offering worlds that they invite visitors to discover.
Colour is the language of Justine Cottin (paintings), her way of interpreting the world. Her creations express emotions, each canvas inviting us to feel, contemplate and reconnect with our feelings.
Camille Amzallag (embroidery) uses a variety of media: drawing, embroidery and photography. She uses existing images, often with a sense of humour, to change their meaning.
Gérard Boivin (paintings) presents hybrid forms that connect and multiply in a playground based on repetition, rhythm and symmetry, around an imaginary cartography.
Sandra Franrenet (collages) uses images from magazines to invent another reality, leaving more room for ink and paint to create the backgrounds for her paintings.
