Description
Take a stroll outside the Ville-Close and follow in the footsteps of the first buildings outside the walls. The town developed in close connection with the port and maritime life shaped the neighbourhoods.
The Chapelle de La Croix, the marine biology station and the Quai Russe and Quai Nul will all be mentioned, before we take a look at the remains of the canneries that are still there, right up to the discreet factory chimney of the Centre des Arts et de la Culture.
