Description
This retrospective, spread over 200 m², brings together 65 black-and-white photographs taken between 1978 and the mid-1980s. Many of these photographs have never before been exhibited to the public.
Organised with the support of the Association des Amis de Michel Thersiquel, this exhibition invites visitors to discover the work of Michel Thersiquel, one of the greatest Breton photographers of his generation. Through his unique perspective, which is both poetic and realistic, Thersiquel captures the private lives and daily routines of the inhabitants of the Ponant islands: Batz, Belle-Île, Sein, Groix and Ouessant. Far from clichés, he offers a raw and authentic vision of these island territories.
