Description
A former parish church, situated in the ‘Castel’ district in the heart of Audierne, St Raymond’s Church was extended in the 17th century, between 1607 (choir) and 1646 (sacristy), by adding to a chapel first mentioned in the 15th century. The church was subsequently extended on two further occasions in the 18th and 19th centuries.
It has been listed as a historic monument since May 1932.
Conservation and enhancement works are planned.
It will be open to the public on Wednesdays and Saturdays, from 8 July to 30 August, from 10.00 am to 12.00 pm.
