The Vieilles Coques de Concarneau event is the oldest gathering of "old boats" in France, dedicated to maritime heritage. Since 1975, a host of enthusiasts have been meeting in the inner harbour, hoisting their sails and parading around the bay. Around forty old rigs come together to put on a great show. Concarneau's inner harbour will be alive with sails and wooden hulls. ON THE WATER From the smallest, barely five metres long, to the most imposing at twenty-four metres, historic monuments and boats of heritage interest, all these boats will leave the harbour under sail to parade around the bay. It's a spectacle not to be missed. A large number of places are available on board many of the boats to get on board and experience the event from the inside.
