Description
This week is dedicated to plein air painting, from the past to the present day.
La vache qui siffle (The Whistling Cow) wants to revive the artistic life of Brigneau harbour, just as it was in the days when Mother Bacon's inn attracted the painters of the Pont-Aven school to paint "on the spot", in the open air.
Today, Skechers and sketchers continue to capture the beauty of the place in their watercolours or travel diaries.
On the programme: a changing exhibition of sketches by visiting painters, painting, watercolour and travel notebook workshops, a guided walk "The Golden Age of Painters in Brigneau", and live portrait animations.
Opening on 21 July at 6.30pm.
