Description
A 4-day course, for children aged 10 and over, organised by the Piccolo Sole Artistic Association.
Participants can choose to enrol for 3 or 4 days.
Emanuele Scanziani, professional artist (and watercolourist)
Immerse yourself in the gentle, luminous world of watercolour during this introductory course, which is open to everyone with no prior experience required. Whether you’re a complete beginner, already have some experience or are simply curious to discover this technique, this course invites you to explore the basics of watercolour illustration in a friendly and creative atmosphere.
Throughout the course, you’ll learn how to work with colours, understand colour mixing, study perspective, play with water and transparency, and create your first watercolours step by step.
The main aim is to have fun, to dare to experiment and to leave with a solid foundation and your own creations.
Equipment to bring:
· White sheets of A4-sized Canson-type watercolour paper or a notebook with Canson-type sheets
· Grey pencil, eraser, pencil sharpener
· Fine black pen
· A small, inexpensive watercolour palette (the sort used by schoolchildren) or, if you don’t have one, I can lend you one
· Paintbrushes if you have any; otherwise, I can lend you some
