Description
As part of the Cap Danse Festival.
Zoé Lakhnati’s *Where the fuck am I?* is a duet imbued with humour and a sense of incongruity, in which dance and voice intertwine,
come to the fore and fall out of sync. Through the use of sound effects and sounds that overlap or are out of sync, an
unstable space is created, akin to a shifting mental landscape. The performers see themselves as ‘channels’ through which
fragments of memory, sensations and pop culture flow. Voice and body respond to one another continuously, to the point of blurring our bearings
and opening up a sensory, funny and disorienting vertigo, where perception wavers.
