Screened at the 15th edition of the Pêcheurs du Monde film festival in Lorient in March 2023, this film – the second in the series ‘The Image of the Fisherman through Documentary Cinema’ – offers a glimpse into the history of canneries, the dynamics of coastal areas and the vitality of local communities. It forms part of an initiative to promote heritage and foster an understanding of the changing maritime environment. A 58-minute documentary film. In the presence of Alain Pichon, the director, and Brigitte Cloarec, who provided the songs and music for the film.
