Description
First recorded in 1535, the Kercousquet windmill is a remarkable example of Clohars-Carnoët’s rural heritage. After ceasing operations in 1936, it was restored thanks to the dedication of volunteers and has been returned to its traditional working order. Today, it is the only windmill in the Quimperlé region to have been preserved in its entirety. This special open day will offer visitors the chance to discover its history, how it works and the world of millers of yesteryear.
