Description
This second edition of the Maritime Matrimoine Days takes us on a journey from the Gulf of Morbihan to the Vendée coast, via the coasts of Normandy and Brittany, the rivers of Europe and the Mediterranean.
Saturday 19 September:
10.00 am: Opening of the ‘Les Matrimoines Maritimes’ exhibitions at the CEFCM
11.30 am: Opening ceremony at the CEFCM
3.00 pm: ‘Women oyster farmers in the Gulf of Morbihan’, by Katia Frangoudes, sociologist at the University of Brest (UBO)
4.00 pm: Discussion with the audience, with Corine Le Roux, oyster farmer, in attendance
5.00 pm: Catherine Goulletquer via video link, journalist, presenting her book *Femme de la côte*, the story of an oyster farmer from Marennes-Oléron
6.30 pm: Closing of the talks, open readings, stories by maritime writers.
Sunday 20 September:
10.00 am: Opening of the ‘Les Matrimoines Maritimes’ exhibitions at the CEFCM
11.00 am: Screening of *Gardiennes*, a documentary by Lou Paulin
3.00 pm: Cilette Ofaire, sailor and writer, presented by PhD student Suzie Cariou-Movan, UBO Literature
4.30 pm: A maritime and literary journey, by Karin Huet, author and sailor
6.00 pm: Closing of the Maritime Matrimoine Days
