Spring Bazaar at the Friperie de la MJC Centre social de Scaër: When fashion makes sense!
At the thrift shop, your clothes become our thrift and we transform them into stories of inclusion, transition, transmission, emancipation, creation and solidarity.
The Big Bazaar is on Saturday 11 April, from 10am to 6pm: a big sale with the unpacking of spring-summer clothes, plus a clearance sale on the whole shop until 17 April: 1 item bought = 1 item offered (the cheapest).
A social integration project at the heart of the MJC Social Centre in Scaër, in a rural setting, is a very special thing. Two textile-related activities help to support more than twenty employees each year in their transition to employment and training.
A launderette where you can wash, dry and iron household linen, clothes, duvets, etc.
A second-hand clothing shop selling items that are in very good condition, clean and ready to wear: The shop offers women's, men's and children's clothing, household linen, shoes, accessories, leather goods and jewellery at very low prices or even free!
The shop also offers "made in chantier" textile creations in sewing, weaving or crochet: rugs, bags, pouches, wipes, etc. To treat yourself or to give as a gift, unique pieces made from recycled materials at prices affordable to everyone.
In addition to these Saturday openings, the second-hand shop is open all year round on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9am to 12.30pm and from 1.30pm to 6pm, as well as every first Saturday of the month from 10am to 4pm.
Textiles can be collected all year round during these opening hours or in the local containers. Regular arrivals allow us to fill the shelves every week.
