Description

Muriel Fily, an archaeologist with the Finistère Department, and Yves Fouquet, a geologist at Ifremer, will be giving a two-part lecture. The first part will address the challenges of preserving the coastal archaeological heritage, which is under threat from climate change. The second part will present an exceptional discovery off the coast of the island of Sein: stone barriers dating back more than 7,000 years, evidence of prehistoric human settlement.
