Journées du patrimoine - Visite d’une partie du château

  • Cultural
Musée bigouden, Square de l'Europe, 29120 Pont-l'Abbé

Description

After several years of closure for renovation work, the château – which remains closed to the public – is gradually being unveiled. As part of European Heritage Days, the Town of Pont-l’Abbé invites you to come and explore a small part of the castle, namely the lower rooms, which have been completely stripped back, the new oak staircase in the levelled-off tower, the newly landscaped terrace on the same tower (weather permitting) and the beautiful Council Chamber, which has been fully restored. A number of short guided tours will be available throughout your visit, which will take around thirty minutes in total. Over 1,000 time slots are available over these two days, so you should be able to enjoy the tour! Two time slots per day will be reserved for people with reduced mobility and their carers (subject to the passenger lift being operational). There will also be time slots in Breton at the end of the day on both Saturday and Sunday. Online booking is compulsory
