Description
Tristan Island, owned by the Conservatoire du Littoral, is open to the public free of charge at low tide. Access is on foot. Dogs, picking wild plants and picnics are prohibited on the site. Smoking is prohibited on the site.
WALKERS, PLEASE NOTE! THESE CROSSING TIMES ARE PROVIDED FOR GUIDANCE ONLY.
You cross on foot at your own risk.
Be extremely vigilant as the tide comes in to avoid becoming stranded on the island. Crossing times may be shortened depending on weather conditions and wind strength. If there is water in the channel, the strength of the currents makes crossing impossible.
In the event of any problems, the Conservatoire du littoral, owner of Tristan Island, and the town of Douarnenez, which manages the site, accept no liability.
PLEASE WEAR NON-SLIP FOOTWEAR
