"Fiskal" draws inspiration from the founding values of skateboarding and traditional Breton culture.
The show brings together these two seemingly very different worlds to explore what builds and unites a community.
Drawing on their background in contemporary dance, Pauline Sonnic and Nolwenn Ferry explore Breton dance heritage together, celebrating its festive and popular character. For this project, they are joined by two skateboarders. With infectious joy and energy, ‘Fiskal’ presents a Breton youth built around shared values. It also speaks to us of passing on traditions, authenticity and collective creation.
