The Fête des Bruyères will be held on the second weekend of August (9 August) in Beuzec-Cap-Sizun. A not-to-be-missed summer event, Sunday will begin at 10am with the traditional mass. At the end of mass, the aubades will welcome visitors and liven up the Place de la Mairie. At midday, visitors will be able to eat at the Kastel-Koz site and enjoy the entertainment on site to the rhythm of sea shanties. At around 2pm, the Breton wedding parade will set off towards the Kastel-Koz site. From the village of Beuzec to the festival site, the procession of decorated floats will be on parade. Visitors will also be able to admire the bagad from Pouldergat, the cercle and bagad from Concarneau, a folklore ensemble from Galicia, as well as the bagad Beuzeg, the cercle des Bruyères, the Bugale ar Brug and the Bagadig Beuzeg from Beuzec-Cap-Sizun. The gavotte competition and the afternoon and evening shows will be an opportunity for visitors to discover the groups' dance and music performances, while enjoying the various stalls and entertainment on site. At around 10.45pm, the show will give way to a grand musical fireworks display, followed by a fest-noz hosted by Sonerien Du.
