Ornithotherapy conference
23 May 2026, from 3pm to 5pm
Conference on the book Ornithérapie, with authors Élise Rousseau and Philippe J. Dubois.
Now more than ever, a return to nature is a precious resource. To draw strength from it, it's essential to learn to recognise the elements that make it up. Among them, birds occupy a special place: often highly coloured, endowed with keen intelligence and brilliant musicians, they are the embodiment of freedom.
But beyond the wonder they arouse, they can also help us to live differently. By observing and protecting them, we can discover unsuspected remedies for our contemporary ills. Patience, listening to and contemplating birds are all effective ways of overcoming fears, relieving stress, freeing ourselves from value judgements and redefining ourselves, while actively helping to preserve the planet.
Speakers:
Élise Rousseau, author of numerous books, naturalist and philosopher and Philippe J. Dubois, author, environmental engineer and ornithologist.
Book signing after the conference.
In the presence of Karrigell from the Boucan café and bookshop in Pont-Aven, who will be offering a selection of works by Élise Rousseau, Philippe J. Dubois, as well as books on ecology.
