Description
As part of the national ‘Mer et Littoraux’ campaign, the Concarneau Cornouaille Lions Club is organising the Fête de la Mer on Saturday 11 July 2026, on the forecourt of Les Halles, from 10.00 am to 10.00 pm.
This major festive, educational and participatory event forms part of the “Génération Mer” programme, which aims to promote initiatives in support of the environment, ecology and the preservation of the marine environment.
On this occasion, numerous local organisations will present their initiatives and activities carried out in the town of Concarneau and the surrounding area:
- Photography and video exhibitions;
- Presentations and discussions on citizen science programmes dedicated to the ocean in Concarneau;
- Meetings and discussions with organisations and partners committed to coastal protection.
- Several stalls will also be open to the public:
SNSM;
Local craftspeople;
Book stall;
Children’s area: face painting, drawing competition, wooden games.

2.00 pm: Maritime dictation (open to adults, secondary school pupils and sixth-formers)
