Description
Held at the Pors Bihan site, behind the church, the festival features fairground rides, food stalls and bars open throughout the day.
The traditional fancy-dress parade will be followed by a show celebrating Breton culture, featuring performances by dance groups and bagadoù.
In the late afternoon, there will be a raffle draw, an introduction to Breton dancing, followed by the unmissable fest-noz!
The festivities will begin at 2.30 pm with a grand parade starting at the bottom of Rue du Port, before heading to Pors Bihan where, from 3.15 pm, several iconic groups representing Breton culture: Bagad Loktudi, Bagad Ar Vro Vigoudenn Uhel, Cercle Celtique des Mederien Penhars and Cercle Celtique Brug Ar Menez.
In the evening, it’s time for the Fest-Noz! Following an introduction to Breton dancing at 8.00 pm, the audience will be able to dance to the music of the bands Shõ, Le Breton/Hélias and Litha from 9.00 pm onwards.
Throughout the day, enjoy the on-site food and drink (crêpes, kouigns, pastries…), the refreshment bar and fairground games in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
