We're just a few minutes away from the start of the show. The director (who is also the company's presenter and technician) is there, the set is set up, the costumes are in place, the sound system is on, but there are no actors warming up backstage! How do you play the legend of Verbruntschneck?
Is the team somewhere on the side of the road next to a broken-down minibus? Was there a big row, a last-minute clash? Or has there never been a theatre troupe in this company?
Fortunately, the audience is warm, thanks to them the show will go ahead!
