Fred GUICHEN
For almost 40 years now, the accordionist has been distilling his melodies on stage, on record and in various formations. Fred Guichen has been one of the leading lights of Breton music for all these years. He got his start with the famous group Ar Re Yaouank in the 90s, and went on to play with Jacques Pellen's Celtic Procession, before accompanying Denez and working on numerous productions with his brother and as a solo artist.
Erwan MOAL
Erwan plays guitar in a variety of bands, including the Le Bour Bodros Quintet: a group formed in 2009 by the Trégorrois duo Le Bour/Bodros (saxophone/accordion), joined by bass, flute and guitar. Erwan can also be found in the Kadja trio (diatonic accordion, violin, guitar), in a duo with Gidas Moal on the bombarde or with Yoann Le Nedeleg on the uillean pipe...
Erwan Moal is a talented guitarist from the younger generation of the Breton scene. Between lightness and depth, strength and delicacy, simplicity and instrumental excellence, Fred's melodies are identifiable by that special something, that return to the unchanging sources that characterise his Trégor, his Brittany.
Trio LE BUHE, BRUNET, LEON
Three of today's leading lights on the Breton music scene: singer Nolùen Le Buhé, a veteran of traditional song for over 35 years; Yuna Léon, a generous and mischievous violinist, attentive to the subtleties of the Breton and Irish singers, ringers and musicians who nurtured her childhood; and Hélène Brunet, initially acclaimed as a guitarist before she brought the laúd back from Spain, for which she has forged a powerful, enveloping, sensitive and audacious style.
Three accomplices who, in the same breath, put their energy, their appetite and their profound knowledge of the repertoire at the service of the dance and the dancers.
