Description
Gérard Boivin presents an exhibition based on his retrospective: the act of looking back, of returning to the past.
At the heart of his creative process: working in series, using different tools and media (acrylic, pastels, watercolour, walnut stain, ink, natural pigments…), and a wide variety of surfaces.
This results in a presentation of hybrid forms, graphic interplay and artistic exploration centred on an imaginary cartography, straddling the boundary between drawing and painting, land and sea.
