Description
Founded in 2019, the charity “Bringing St Léger’s Chapel to Life” has worked tirelessly to make the restoration of the stained-glass windows – which have now been restored – possible.
These contemporary stained-glass windows were unveiled in 2023 and are largely inspired by the works of St Francis of Assisi.
The association has also devoted a great deal of effort to ensuring the restoration of the ex-votos that now adorn the chapel, in accordance with the heritage standards they deserve. They are now displayed in the chancel, representing the De Guer family.
You will also be able to come and admire, in this magnificent setting, the polychrome wooden statues, which have returned following their restoration by the workshop in Bignan (56).
As well as these magnificent stained-glass windows, you will also be able to discover the history of the chapel thanks to the volunteers who work passionately to preserve this religious heritage.
