Dixit Dominus propelled Handel to fame: a true virtuoso piece, it is a marvel of sacred music, composed in 1707 Excerpts from *The Messiah*, the finest moments! This oratorio, an immense masterpiece, ranks among the world’s greatest sacred works, with its skilful, magnificent and luminous orchestration – sparkling, popular and synonymous with joy: who does not know the famous *Hallelujah*!
