Description
JUBILATE, a choir founded in 1997 at Toulon Cathedral, specialises in Gregorian chant and early polyphony, performing themed concerts a cappella in venues selected for their acoustic quality. The international mezzo-soprano Yan ZAWACKI lends her vocal talents to solo pieces.
This year’s programme, entitled ‘SALVE MATER’ (Hail, Mother), will be performed in
BRITTANY by two soloists: soprano Lyrissa TOSCANELLI and mezzo-soprano Yan ZAWACKI, accompanied on the organ by Angélique KRIEGER, who will perform Pergolesi’s magnificent ‘Stabat Mater’. Alain Pupier, baritone and choir director, will sing and conduct the plainchant and polyphonic works.
