Description

Breton singer Élodie Jaffré (Celtic Odyssée #4, Kreiz Akademi #7, Inorzen...) and harpist Awena Lucas (2nd prize at theTrophée Camac in 2016) form a duo inspired by traditional themes and songs from Lower Brittany. Passionate about music to dance to and listen to, their repertoire takes us into a rich and varied universe: gwerzioù, sonioù, kan ha diskan and other songs to dance to or listen to from Central Brittany and the Vannes region. Since 2016, the two musicians have naturally developed a close relationship and a sensitivity to their art that they love to pass on to their audiences. They have both won several awards for their singing and harp performances (Kan ha diskan, Kan ar bobl, Festival international de harpe, etc.), and released their first album as a duo in 2019. They then worked together with double bass player Yann Le Bozec on the creation of the show and album KANOUR NOZ, which won 1st prize at the Prizioù 2023 (France 3 Bretagne and Ofis de la langue bretonne). Free admission.
