Description
The “Baroq’n pipes” trio is unique in France and perhaps even in Europe. It brings together a harpsichord (played by Jean François Nestour), a cello (Yves Pol Ruelloux), and… an Uilleann pipe, the iconic Irish bagpipe (Peter Merbeth). The programme will therefore take you on a journey from 17th-century music, featuring Henry Purcell and W. Byrd, through Bach and Couperin, to 21st-century traditional Irish music. Surprising, isn’t it?
