Description
Opening of St Fiacre’s Chapel.
Set in lush green surroundings, St Fiacre’s Chapel was built in the 16th century. It was restored in 1852. Remarkable for its architecture, the interior features a beautiful stained-glass window by Lucien-Léopold LOBIN (1837–1892) dating from the late 19th century, as well as seven statues. Beneath the building, a spring feeds the 15th-century sacred fountain set into the outer wall of the chapel’s east apse.
