Description
Led by the artist Laurette Le Gall, as part of the exhibition “Se souvenir d’un souffle”.
Listening, recording and collective composition.
Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes – maximum 10 people
Equipment required: if possible, a smartphone with Bluetooth.
Writing and sound creation workshop.
Using simple actions – those I employ in my own artistic practice – “looking, listening, recording a sound, reading words, writing them, juxtaposing them” – this workshop invites you to explore our perception of a space. Together, we can create and collect fragments and experiment with the possibilities of creating a collective body of work.
Laurette Le Gall is an artist who creates immersive sound installations using texts she writes and recorded fragments. She enjoys reflecting on the connections we have with the spaces we inhabit, seeking out the absurd and the poetic in language, and observing and playing with the fine line between fiction and reality. She graduated from ESAAB in Rennes (2012) and HGB in Leipzig (2018). She lives and works in Lorient.
