As part of her exhibition “Fil·s d’histoires: portraits of women”, the artist Sophie Keromnes Andrade is running two embroidery workshops. They are open to everyone – adults and children aged 8 and over – subject to booking. – Thursday 23 July at 3.00 pm – Thursday 6 August at 3.00 pm Each participant will create their own project on a 13 × 21 cm embroidery hoop. Participants may take their creations home at the end of the workshop or leave them to become part of the collective exhibition on display at the media centre. You are welcome to bring a personal item, a piece of fabric, a photograph or an image to serve as a starting point for your project. The idea is to come along with a desire to create, experiment and share a communal experience centred on artistic practice.
