It opens on a spring Sunday with four friends sharing a picnic in a park. We then meet them again in the same park with the changing of the seasons. Four seasons and a catastrophe that spreads across the landscape, swallowing up without warning those who were having lunch there and seemed so peaceful, so tenderly bound together the first time.
