A veritable little country cathedral, this church was largely built in the 1st half of the 16th century and is dedicated to Notre Dame Izel Vor (Our Lady of the Low Seas).
Its elegant bell tower is one of the most representative of 16th-century architecture in Cornwall.
Its calvary was used as a pulpit on busy days.
Polychrome statuary adorns the interior of the building. Also of note are the 17th-century baptismal font and the pavilion altarpiece on the high altar.
