🏰Keriolet, a castle with such atypical architecture, a must-see place to visit in summer!
With its origins in the 13th century, the manor house was remodelled by the diocesan architect Joseph Bigot at the end of the 19th century for Princess Zénaïde Narischkine, aunt of Tsar Nicolas II. She financed the construction of a superb neo-Gothic building for her husband, Count Charles de Chauveau. Over the course of the 20th century, the castle had several owners, including the princess’s great-grandson, Prince Felix Yusupov (famous for being Rasputin’s assassin). The guides, always highly motivated and enthusiastic, will help you, adults and children alike, to discover the unusual and surprising history of this castle, with its many anecdotes. Come and enjoy this magnificent wooded setting when you visit Concarneau.
