La Forêt-Fouesnant’s main beach is a kilometre-long stretch of fine sand. Largely sheltered from the wind, Kerleven beach is ideal for swimming and relaxing.

Kerleven beach regulations
- In July and August, Kerleven beach is supervised and accessible to people with reduced mobility. A tiralo and a hippocampus are available at the lifeguard post (open from the last Saturday before the summer school holidays to the penultimate Sunday of the summer holidays from 1.30pm to 7.30pm).
- Smoking is not permitted on the beaches.
- Shellfish harvesting is not recommended on Kerleven beach in summer.
- Under municipal by-law no. 2023-022 PA, dogs and other domestic animals are banned from the beaches all year round. Horses are permitted on the foreshore from 1 October to 31 May.
