This 200 m² retrospective brings together 65 black and white photographs taken between 1978 and the mid-1980s. Many of these photographs have never before been shown to the public.
Designed with the support of the Association des Amis de Michel Thersiquel, this exhibition invites visitors to discover the work of Michel Thersiquel, one of the greatest Breton photographers of his generation. Through his unique vision, which is both poetic and realistic, Thersiquel captures the intimacy and everyday life of the inhabitants of the Ponant islands: Batz, Belle-Île, Sein, Groix and Ouessant. Far from clichés, he delivers a raw, authentic vision of these island territories.
