As part of the exhibition "Vivre la guerre au Pays de Lorient" ("Living through the war in the Lorient region"), the media library, in partnership with the "Mémoire et Patrimoine" association, is organising an outing to the Cité de l'habitat provisoire de Ploemeur on the afternoon of Thursday 9 April. Located in the Parc de Soye, the Cité de l'habitat provisoire consists of three furnished barracks. Their visit tells the story of the creation of this unique, ingenious and efficient emergency architecture, which bears witness to daily life during the Reconstruction and beyond. The site is listed as a historic monument and managed by the "Mémoire de Soye" association. Information and registration on 02.98.96.22.53 or with the media librarians.
