Description
An American pianist and singer now based in France, Sarah McCoy has established herself in just a few years as a key figure on the contemporary music scene. It was in New Orleans, amidst the electric atmosphere of the cabarets and clubs, that she forged her stage persona: a blend of vulnerability, black humour, gentle rage and sincerity.
With her powerful voice and intense stage presence, she creates a unique world at the crossroads of blues and alternative soul, with electronic touches.
On stage, her compositions unfold and transform, caught in a constant tension between simplicity and power. Accompanied by two musicians, she revisits her most iconic tracks whilst also giving the stage to new compositions still in the making.
