As part of the national "Espoir en Tête" campaign, Rotary Fouesnant Sud Cornouaille is organising a preview screening of the film COMPOSTELLE on Sunday 22 March at 2.30pm at the Cinémarine in Bénodet.
For the past 20 years, this solidarity initiative has attracted almost 100,000 spectators every year in over 450 cinemas in France. Part of the ticket price is donated to fundamental research into brain diseases.
Ticket price: €15, of which €8 goes directly to research.
About the film :
Directed by Yann Samuell, COMPOSTELLE stars Alexandra Lamy in a story inspired by true events.
The film tells the story of Adam who, accompanied by Fred, has to cover the 2,000 km of the Camino de Compostela to obtain clemency from the judges. The adventure is inspired by an initiative run by an association that offers teenagers with social problems long educational walks to help them reintegrate into society.
An opportunity for solidarity:
By taking part in this preview screening, spectators will be helping to support scientific research into brain diseases, which is at the heart of Rotary's "Hope in Mind" programme.
