This adaptation offers a playful and liberating take on the tale. It is set in the school playground and draws inspiration from this space, which is so important in a child’s life – a place for play, conflict and the formation of identities.
Naive, impulsive, cheeky, curious and sometimes cruel, Pinocchio is a multifaceted character. In this show, which blends theatre, mime and live music, we follow his adventures – fraught with pitfalls – and his transformation from a piece of wood into a little boy of flesh and blood.
