Description
Max & Maurice Theatre Company
A quirky big top restaurant is opening its doors in Kerbader!
To celebrate its fortieth anniversary, the Max & Maurice Theatre Company is hitting the road one last time, drawing on its repertoire. So, to go out with a bang, what could be better than *Les Grands Fourneaux*? This show, created in 2015, left an indelible impression on the audience who saw it from the very beginning.
Whilst all that remains of the once-luxurious restaurant are a few patched-up velvet upholstery, plucked chandeliers and mismatched plates, the desire to serve, entertain and captivate the clientele remains as strong as ever. On the menu: high-flying acrobatics, lyrical flourishes and delicious dishes, served by chic circus performers, enthusiastic chefs and charming musicians. In a delightfully retro atmosphere, the troupe performs a range of acts (aerial acrobatics, clowning, contortion, the Cyr wheel, the trapeze…) whilst the chef creates a variety of flavours.
Plenty of humour, talent and joy, with a pinch of emotion, are the ingredients of this delicious home-cooked fare.
Three performances: Friday 14th, Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th May at 7.00 pm
