You'll be carried away to the West Coast, Tennessee, Chicago, Louisiana and Kentucky, and you'll be impressed by the lucidity of the arrangements. These are bravura pieces in which the listener likes to lose himself, only to find himself again the next moment, with 6- and 12-string guitars, slides that will thrill even the most seasoned players, some fine Hammond organ parts, a harmonica that's discreet but present when it needs to be, and special work on the vocals with hints that are reminiscent of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young.
