"Double Baroque" | Vivaldi, Bach and Telemann

This season, Ensemble Matheus presents a programme of double, triple and quadruple concertos by Vivaldi, Telemann and Bach.

These Baroque masterpieces, in which the instruments interact with virtuosity and elegance, are performed with all the energy and passion that characterise Ensemble Matheus. The concert climaxes with Vivaldi's Concerto for Four Violins, a moment of unique musical intensity in which the virtuosity of the soloists soars in a whirlwind of harmonies. This masterpiece, which inspired Bach, is a summit of balance between the solo voices and the ensemble, offering a dream conclusion to this Baroque evening.
