Conférence : "Des plantes pour les médicaments de demain"

Upstream of scientific studies, plants remain a precious resource, both for the search for molecules for tomorrow's medicines and for the healthcare of the most vulnerable. Drawing on his experience in the field, Jean-Pierre Nicolas will present ethnobotany and the issues it raises in various fields, particularly that of remedies and medicines. It's an original way of getting to know different peoples and cultures. Jean-Pierre Nicolas, an anthropologist, ethnobotanist and ethno pharmacologist, is involved in research at the Faculty of Pharmacy in Liège. He is hosting this conference as part of the association "Les Amis de la Station marine de Concarneau".
